Deep Fried Pelmeni
  • 1 package frozen Pelmeni, thawed
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flavored breadcumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Marinara sauce for dipping
  1. Prepare a breading station by placing flour in a bowl. Crack the eggs into the next bowl and beat them. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  2. Working with one at a time, coat each pelmeni in flour then egg and finally in breadcrumbs pressing lightly to adhere. Shake off excess.
  3. Preheat oil in a deep fryer or a pot.
  4. Carefully place the breaded pelmeni into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until deep golden brown and the meat inside is cooked through.
  5. Serve with warm marinara sauce.
